Per HB 532, this course is required of all newly licensed salespeople and must be completed within 12 months of of the date you were licensed.
As you embark on your new career, it is important for you to understand fully the seriousness of the responsibility you accept when assisting others with real estate transactions. The course is designed to update you with current laws, to review basic steps to succeed in the business, and to identify fiduciary duties throughout the transaction. This course will serve as a foundation for the legal and ethical obligations you face.

CREDIT:
- The program is not considered CE credit.
- Attendees must share their video during the program to receive a completion certificate, as active participation will be monitored.
- You must attend all four days of the livestream to fulfill the 20 Hour Post Licensure requirement. There will be no partial credit given.
- Per ODRE requirements, attendees must be present 90% of the program.
Instructor: Carol Sommer
Carol Sommer is a Coach and Trainer as well as the Founder and Developer of the RE Kick Start program. She was named the 2022 Columbus REALTORS Instructor of the Year, and has served on their Education Committee, Grievance Committee, as Chair of their Member Services Committee, and as President of the Powell Area Realty Association. Carol is passionate about teaching and has taught hundreds of students, both new and seasoned, the fundamentals of real estate. She practiced real estate for more than 22 years before dedicating her skills full time to teaching, training, and coaching.
