Jim West receives Ohio REALTORS 2020 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award
REALTOR Jim West, of Stow, is presented with the Ohio REALTORS 2020 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award by Ohio REALTORS President Chris Reese and CEO Scott Williams. He is joined by his wife, Dee, and the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS CEO Sandy Naragon. The announcement of West's selection was made at the Ohio REALTORS 110th Annual Convention & EXPO, held virtually, September 21-25.
REALTOR Jim West, of Stow, was honored with the Ohio REALTORS 2020 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes those Past Presidents of the Ohio REALTORS that provided exemplary service to the organization. Aveni served as President of the organization in 1980 and the award was created after his passing in 2006.
The announcement of West's selection was made at the Ohio REALTORS 110th Annual Convention & EXPO, held virtually, September 21-25.
The Award, created by the Ohio REALTORS Past Presidents Committee, is bestowed upon a Past President who has demonstrated a continued commitment to the same values and passion for excellence that Aveni displayed throughout his life.
On the state level, West served as President of the Ohio REALTORS in 2005.
Additionally, he’s chaired numerous committees, including RPAC Fundraising and Issues Mobilization, and served on critical task forces such as the State Taxation group. He continues to serve the profession as a member of Ohio REALTORS Charitable Fund trustee.
“Jim is an outstanding Ohio REALTOR and embodies everything that the Aveni Award stands for,” said Ohio REALTORS President Chris Reese. “Congratulations Jim – and thank you for your continued service.”
Jim is active in his community, serving on numerous local boards. On behalf of the State of Ohio and The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce, he was named the Humanitarian of the Year for 2014.
