Coaching Corner: 2020 vision?

Earlier I was speaking with a good friend about current events, as we haven’t connected for quite some time. We touched on the virus, the protests and the riots among other things. As we neared the completion of our chat, I remembered how I had entered the year 2020 -- with excitement, and even remember speaking the words that we had a year now where we could see clearly. Of course, I had spoken those words in jest and actually when I said it I was leaving my yearly exam at the eye doctor!
And then it hit me -- we actually are seeing things more clearly! With each event that has presented itself we have much more clarity about what we want. It does happen that way sometimes -- we have situations that we absolutely do NOT like. Our choice then is to either stay in that place...or use these situations as a springboard to gain clarity about what we do want. There is definitely something to be said for this.
I don’t have more words on this, just be aware of how clearly you see things right now -- you may be as surprised as I was!
