Coaching Corner: What does success look like for you?

Success equates to something different for each of us. And...success can happen in many parts of our lives. You may find what you deem to be success within your career, but your relationships are not quite where you would like them to be. Just for fun, look at these parts of your life and identify what success would look like: Career/Finances/Health/Relationships. Certainly, you are welcome to add other categories to these four.
Write these down -- it will help you as you take this exercise forward. The next step is to look at why these items are important -- how will your life be different -- who does it impact? Make sure that these are true “wants” as opposed to “shoulds.” As you determine your individual answers, begin to ask what steps might lead you to the success you have identified.
Take this process slow and easy -- no need to rush. Ensure that what you come up with is in alignment with who you truly are, that you are not coming from a place of others determining how your life looks.
Well, you might be saying, these just look like goals. Perhaps, however, going a bit deeper will assist you in clarifying. Have fun with this and remember, its all about you!
