Dorothy Botsoe is a real estate powerhouse in Lower New York and the Broker-Owner of Dorothy Jensen Realty, Inc. She has over 25 years of Real Estate experience in Westchester County and opened her own brokerage in 1995 with diverse and demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Real Estate including sales, leasing and Real Estate Owned/Foreclosure specific work. She is a native of Ghana, West Africa and received her BA from SUNY Purchase with a background in Business Administration. She was the first Black President of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors in 2017 where she implemented new programs and activities aligned with her wide and well received theme of diversity and inclusion for the realtor community. Her accomplishments and positions include honors such as the New York State Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year (2020), Lawrence B Caldwell RPAC Award Recipient (2020), Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year (2012), the NYS Women’s Council of Realtors Member of the Year (2007), the NYS State Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors President (2003) and NYS Graduate Realtor Institute Chapter President (2003). She has served on the board for the Women’s Council of Realtors as Governor, Treasurer and President at both the local and state level.
Dorothy is currently Vice Chair of the National Association of Realtors Fair Housing Policy Committee, and has served on NAR's Diversity Committee, and on the Board of Directors. She is a NYS certified instructor and teaches Agency, Fair Housing, Ethics, & Salespersons Licensing courses for HGAR.
