Coaching Corner: What do you really want?

In talking further, he had given up on some of the dreams he held earlier in his life and was much more in the “should†arena, acting from a place that he felt was necessary rather than desired. He had found himself disconnected from what he truly wanted.
How are you stimulating and building your own “want muscles?†Are you finding yourself out of love with your life? I would like to invite you to go on a treasure hunt for as many things as you can that you find interesting, stimulating, fun...the possibilities are vast!
Just this week, my sister was visiting from Houston and we did a historic underground tour of part of our downtown — it was absolutely fascinating and provided great conversation. How might this keep you from being stuck? The more you can find to do, read, see, etc. that bring you delight, the more excited you will be about all parts of your life!
Imagine your life as a garden hose with water flowing freely...if you find yourself in a negative mode, or, you go on automatic in your life, it is as if the hose gets kinked. You want to always be on the lookout for what pleases you, finding the good, thinking about what you want that would make your life more expanded, rather than what you do not have or do not like.
