Bradley Bennett named OAR's 2016 'Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award' honoree
Columbus REALTOR Bradley Bennett accepts the prestigious "Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award" at the OAR Annual Convention & Expo. He was congratulated by OAR President-elect Pete Kopf and Treasurer Tiffany Meyer following the announcement.
REALTOR Bradley Bennett, of Columbus, was honored with the Ohio Association of REALTORS 2016 "Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award."
The presentation of the award was made at the Association's Board of Directors meeting during the OAR 106th Annual Convention, Sept. 19-21, in Cleveland.
The "Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award" was created in 2001 in memory of Past President Phillip R. Barnes, who was a leading advocate of the organization's REALTORS Political Action Committee. The Award is presented annually to a REALTOR whose commitment to RPAC and political involvement is exemplary.
Bennett has been a leader within the real estate profession and has served OAR with distinction throughout his career. In 2011 he was named a recipient of OAR's prestigious Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes members with at least 25 years of service to the Association who have demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the goals and purposes of the REALTOR association at all levels without having served as OAR president.
Additionally, he has served as an OAR Director for more than 15 years. Bennett has chaired and served on numerous committees within the organization, including RPAC Trustees, RPAC Fundraising, Legislative Steering, Issues Mobilization and Convention.
Bennett served as president of Columbus REALTORS in 2007, and is consistently recognized By HER, REALTORS with The President's Award for sales exceeding $5 million per year.
A strong supporter of RPAC, he is recognized by NAR at the Golden R Major Investor Level and is a President's Circle Member. He was inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame in 2013.
He serves as the industry's Federal Political Coordinator to Rep. Steve Stivers (R-15th District).

Rouda (2002), Vince Aveni (2003), Mary Pollock (2004), Nancy Sharp (2005), George Smith (2006), Steve Brown (2007), Hal Maxfield (2008), Barbara Lach (2009), Darlene Breen (2010), Bonnie Boyd (2011), Charlotte Van Steyn (2012), Phil Morrical Jr. (2013 -- posthumously), John Lynch (2014), and Joseph T. Aveni, Jr. (2015).
The Ohio Association of REALTORS, with more than 30,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
