Ohio Market Watch: Fewer Ohio REALTORS indicate sellers realistically anticipate value of home
By Greg Stitz, OAR Director of Research
OAR recently asked Ohio's REALTORS to indicate whether their sellers are becoming more or less realistic when anticipating the value of their homes to put on the market. This June 30 percent of respondents indicated their sellers are becoming more realistic, an 11 percent drop from the 41 percent indicating so last June and a 20 percent decline from the June 2014 mark. June 2016 survey results also find 32 percent of respondents indicating their sellers are less realistic and for the remaining 38 percent there is no indication of change.
Survey results are based on responses to a monthly survey, designed to capture the effects of the existing economic conditions and trends on the real estate industry, sent to a pool of 1,500 OAR participants. Click here to participate in future OAR Housing Confidence Surveys.
