Scam Alert: Fake Attendee List Offer for Ohio REALTORS Conference 2025
Heads up, members! A scam email is circulating, falsely claiming to offer an attendee list for the Ohio REALTORS Conference 2025 in Columbus on March 26, 2025.
The email, sent by a "Business Executive" named Erin, offers to sell a list of 1,000+ attendees for a price. This is a fraudulent offer—conference organizers, including Ohio REALTORS®, do not sell or distribute attendee lists in this manner.
How to Spot the Scam:
✅ The email is unsolicited and uses a generic greeting (e.g., "Hi username").
✅ The sender is unknown and does not represent Ohio REALTORS®.
✅ Legitimate event organizers never sell attendee lists through random email solicitations.
✅ The goal is likely to steal your money or personal information.
