Ohio REALTORS Installs 2025 Leadership Team

The Ohio REALTORS 2025 Leadership Team was installed during the Association’s Winter Conference, February 3-4, in Columbus, Ohio. This year’s team is Michelle Billings, President, Mic Gordon, President-Elect, and Joanne Zettl, Treasurer

Ohio REALTORS 2025 President Michelle Billings is a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Realty in Cincinnati.

Billings, licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, has demonstrated her passion for the industry through her consistent involvement with the local, state and national REALTOR associations. Billings is the first African American elected president of Ohio REALTORS.

On the local level, she served as President of the REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati in 2019 and President of the Cincinnati Women’s Council of REALTORS in 2017. Additionally, Billings has served on and chaired numerous committees, including Young Professionals Network, Professional Standards & Arbitration, Strategic Planning and Past Presidents, among others.

At the state level, she has chaired and served on the Diversity Equal Opportunities Committee, Local Government Forum, Legislative Steering Committee, Enlarged Legislative Committee, and Board of Directors, among others. She also serves as the State Political Coordinator for Representative Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati).

For the National Association of REALTORS, Billings has served on the Federal Finance and Housing Committee, Board of Directors and Local Leadership Idea Exchange, Research Committee, Leading Edge Advisory Board and currently serves on C2Ex and Strategic Planning Committee. Billings contributes to RPAC as a Crystal R Major Investor.

Billings is a graduate of both the REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and Ohio REALTORS Leadership Academies.

She has earned the National Association of Realtors Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), At Home with Diversity Certification (AHWD), the Short Sale Foreclosure Certification (SFR), and the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation.

In 2017, she was the recipient of The Beaulah Mathys Achievement Award at Coldwell Banker Realty. The Award is given in memory of Beaulah Mathys, who consistently exemplified the highest standards of professionalism and absolute customer commitment.

In her spare time, Billings can be found volunteering at a local Domestic Violence Shelter, serving on the Cleveland Fed Business Advisory Council, traveling, trying food from different places, reading, and hanging out with her family.

Michelle resides in Cincinnati and has four children, Rashee, Alexia, Camaiya, and Olivia and she is Mimi to four grandchildren.

Ohio REALTORS 2025 President-Elect Mic Gordon is the Operating Principal of Keller Williams Greater Columbus Realty.

Gordon, licensed in 1987, leads a brokerage of nearly 325 agents and continues to directly serve clients by listing and selling homes full-time in addition to the leadership roles he has held since 2003.

On the local level, he served as President of Columbus REALTORS in 2017. Additionally, Gordon has served on and chaired numerous committees, including Governance, Board of Consultants, Budget & Finance, Housing Affordability and Community Partnership, CEO Evaluation, CORPAC Governing Board, and Government Affairs Forum. He was honored as Columbus REALTORS Salesperson of the Year in 2020 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the organization in 2018.

At the state level, he has been a member of Ohio REALTORS Board of Directors since 2010. Gordon has chaired and served on several committees, including Strategic Planning, Legislative Steering, Enlarged Legislative, Local Government Forum, Professional Development, RPAC Trustees, License Background Check Task Force, and the Presidential Advisory Group to Study Dual Agency in Ohio. He has served as the industry’s State Political Coordinator for Sen. Michelle Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester). Gordon was appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine to serve as a member of the state’s Federally Subsidized Housing Taxation Study Committee.

For the National Association of REALTORS, Gordon has served on the Federal Taxation Committee and is a member of its Board of Directors (2016-2018, 2022, 2024-2025). He is “Golden R” RPAC Major Investor and has been inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame and Ohio REALTORS RPAC Hall of Honor.

He has earned the National Association of Realtors Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and At Home with Diversity Certification (AHWD).

In his spare time, Gordon enjoys spending time with his family, following all his favorite Ohio sports teams, attending Columbus Crew and Cincinnati Bengals games, and raising awareness for causes close to his family and friends.

Gordon, a lifelong resident of Central Ohio, has been married to his wife, Patty, for 33 years. They have two daughters, Claire and Paige.

Ohio REALTORS 2025 Treasurer Joanne Zettl is a sales associate with The Agency Cleveland Northcoast serving the Greater Cleveland area.

Zettl is a member of the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS (ACAR) and is affiliated with The Agency Cleveland Northcoast. She has been a REALTOR since 1985 and was licensed as a broker in 1990.

At the local level, Zettl served as President of the Akron Cleveland Association in in 2013. Additionally, she has served on and chaired a variety of ACAR committees, including Grievance, Professional Development Equal Opportunity, Legislative, REALTOR of the Year, RPAC Trustees, Professional Standards, Community Watchdog Program, and Rental/Property Management Forum, among others. Zettl has also served as a Trustee on ACAR’s Harold L. Klarreich Scholarship Foundation since 2009.

For Ohio REALTORS, Zettl has been an active participant in governance meetings as a member of its Board of Directors (1996-2000, 2003-2006, 2011-present), as well as serving as a member and chairing a host of Committees -- including: Executive, Communications, Political Activity & RPAC Fundraising, Enlarged Legislative, Legal Issues, Local Government, Professional Standards Forum, Political Advocacy Fund, and Issues Mobilization. She served as Ohio REALTORS District 3 Vice President (2021-2022). Zettl graduated from the Ohio REALTORS Leadership Academy and served on its Advisory Board from 2018-2020. She was selected as Ohio REALTORS Realtor of the Year in 2022.

For the National Association of REALTORS, she serves on the Risk Management Committee, served as chair of the Research Committee in 2020, and has been a member of the Housing Opportunity Committee. Zettl is a current and past member of Board of Directors for the National Association of REALTORS (2018-2020, 2021-2023).

Civically, Zettl has been active with the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce, serving as President and is currently an advisor to the Executive Committee, and has been a member of the Village of Chagrin Falls Mayor’s Advisory Committee. Additionally, she is a current Board member for the Chagrin Documentary Film Fest, been actively involved with Your Hometown (formerly Downtown Chagrin Falls), Chagrin Foundation for Arts & Culture and currently serves as Vice President of the Chagrin Valley Little Theater.

Zettl holds a Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University and studied at the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, Hobbs Herder School of Management, Covey Leadership Center, Dale Carnegie Customer Relations & Employee Development and Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. She has earned the following professional designations from the National Association of REALTORS:  AHWD (At Home With Diversity), CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), e-Pro, GRI (Graduate, REALTORS Institute), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist).
