Lake and Geauga Area Association of REALTORS® receives Ohio's 2024 "Young Professionals Network of the Year Award"
Lake and Geauga Area Association of REALTORS (LGAAR) received the Ohio REALTORS 2024 Young Professional Network (YPN) of the Year Award. Ohio REALTORS® proudly announces that the Lake and Geauga Area Association of REALTORS® (LGAAR) has been honored as the 2024 Young Professionals Network (YPN) of the Year. The announcement was made during the Ohio REALTORS® 114th Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 9-11 in Columbus, Ohio. This award is presented to a Local Association that demonstrates outstanding efforts in involving, recruiting, and representing young professionals in the real estate industry while upholding the goals and mission of YPN as established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
The LGAAR YPN has shown exceptional dedication to professional development and community service throughout the year. Their initiatives include volunteering with WomenSafe, Inc. and hosting a successful fundraiser benefiting WAGS 4 Kids, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the community.
In addition to their community involvement, the group organized several professional development opportunities, including a Continuing Education (CE) class, a Home and Safety Panel, and a New Build Crawl, providing valuable resources and networking opportunities for their members. Furthermore, three YPN members have earned seats on LGAAR’s Board of Directors, showcasing their leadership and influence.
