REALTOR Lynda Long, of Columbus, was honored with the Ohio REALTORS 2024 Mary L. Pollock Lifetime Achievement award.
The award, now in its sixth year, is presented to a deserving Ohio REALTOR who has gone above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of the profession – someone who performs the hard, necessary work to move the organization forward without seeking the accolade or spotlight.
Long’s selection was announced at the Ohio REALTORS 114th Annual Convention & EXPO, in Columbus, September 9-11.
Long has received numerous accolades throughout their years of service to the REALTOR community – including:
• Being the recipient of the Ohio Distinguished Service Award (2012)
• Serving as Secretary, Treasurer, President-Elect, President, and The Association Board of Directors, for their local association of Columbus REALTORS;
• Serving on the Board of Directors for NAR
• Serving on several key Committees for Ohio REALTORS and NAR.
• And, being a true RPAC Champion – evidenced by membership in both the NAR Hall of Fame and Ohio REALTORS Hall of Honor.
“Lynda is such a worthy recipient of this prestigious award,” said President Ali Whitley. “She continues to share her time and talent for the betterment of her community and the Association.”
Mary Pollock was the first recipient of this award in 2019.
The Ohio REALTORS, with more than 36,000 members, is Ohio's largest professional trade association.
