Coaching Corner: Completions...
By Marilou Butcher Roth
I find it the perfect time to focus on completions, getting anything done that would allow me to experience the new year fully. It might be your office files, or desk. Or it could be closets at home. You may need to complete a project that has been hanging out for some time. It may also be a communication that needs to happen. Perhaps something occurred that you have not cleaned up yet with another person. Or communicating feelings that you have not to those we love.
Use these next few week to determine what you need to have in place so that when 2014 begins, you feel clean and clear. Start by making a list and then creating some space in your day (or evening) to accomplish these items. Just the other night I decided rather than watch a TV show that we enjoy, I would finish my closet. Yippee! All done and I can actually see clearly what I have!
Keep this simple, take small steps. You do not need to tackle everything at once. Look at your list each day and determine any small (or not so small) actions that you can accomplish.
Have fun with this and come the first of January, you will be glad you did!
