Occupational Licensing - REALTORS® at the Rotunda Exclusive
In this exclusive video, Ohio REALTORS® Vice President of Government Affairs Andrew Huffman speaks about REALTORS® at the Rotunda, which will be held on April 17th, 2024. One of the legislative issues we will cover at this event is occupational licensing.
"Ohio lawmakers are reviewing the licensing requirements to ensure they are not more burdensome than other states. Lawmakers are looking into reducing the numbers of prelicensing to reduce barriers to entering the profession," Huffman said.
Huffman also notes that Ohio REALTORS have been successful with this issue so far.
"The review process will last through the end of the year and the Realtors at Rotunda Day is a great opportunity to have our voice heard and remind lawmakers why this issue is important," he said.
