Coaching Corner: What About You?
Today I would like to talk seriously about self-care. What exactly does that mean to you? Well, according to Oxford Languages, it means “the practice of taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness, particularly during periods of stress”.
Well, there you go. Now ask yourself honestly if you are in alignment with this definition. Have you developed a practice that supports you not only through those lovely periods of stress but also during our day-to-day lives.
Here’s the thing: there are countless ways to participate in self-care, ranging from meditation, setting clear boundaries, consciously eating, and so many other options. Today is not about any particular method, it’s about you giving some thought to how you personally might create more self-care for yourself. You may even go as far as thinking about “extreme” self-care.
It’s all yours to do whatever you choose - for you…….by you! Enjoy
