Long & Roselius receive OAR's coveted Distinguished Service Award
Congratulations to Columbus REALTOR Lynda Long (left) and Dayton REALTOR Suzie Roselius for receiving the 2012 Ohio Association of REALTORS Distinguished Service Award during the organization's Winter Conference, held Jan. 13-15.
The Distinguished Service Award honors individuals who have dedicated 25 years or more of active involvement in the local, state and national associations of REALTORS. DSAs have never served as an OAR President, or as a paid staff member, at any level of the organization.
Long served as the Columbus Board President in 2002. She has chaired or been a member of over 20 of the Board's Committees including most recently Nominating and Strategic Planning.
For OAR, Long has chaired or been a member of over 15 committees and task forces. Her most recent chairmanships include Products & Services, Enlarged Legislative and Legislative Steering Committees. In 2005 & 2006 she served as the District 6 Vice President.
At the national level, Long recently served on the State Local Issues Committee and served as a Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Pat Tiberi. She is an RPAC Sterling R Member.
Long holds the ABR, CRS, CRB and ePRO designations.
At the Dayton Board, Roselius has served as its President in 1999 and chaired its Professional Standards, Strategic Planning, Finance, Legislative, RPAC and Nominating Committees. She too has been a member of more than 20 committees throughout the years.
For OAR, Roselius served as its REALTOR of the Year in 2001. She has been involved in committees such as Products & Services, Issues Mobilization, Legislative Steering, Legal Action and Strategic Planning.
Nationally, Roselius has attended all of the group's meetings since 1998 and served as an NAR Director. Additionally, she has been a member of the License Law, Mediation, Professional Standards, Risk Management and Issues Mobilization Committees.
Roselius holds the GRI designation.
