NAR honors Boyd and Lynch for remarkable service
Ohio's Bonnie Boyd and John Lynch were honored by the National Association of REALTORS for their exemplary role in serving as the real estate profession's voice on Capitol Hill for more than two decades.
The recognition, which occurred during the recent NAR NXT Conference in Orlando, Fla., was a first in the Federal Political Coordinator's 40-plus year history. Boyd and Lynch were among 40 REALTORS from across the country that was honored for being key contact and grassroots advocate for the REALTOR profession with members of Congress for 20 years or more.
Boyd is currently the FPC for U.S. Rep. David Joyce and previously served in that capacity for former U.S. Rep. Steve LaTourette. Lynch has been the long-time FPC for U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, including when he served in the U.S. House of Representatives.
"It's truly fitting that Bonnie and John were honored for their remarkable service in voicing the REALTOR position with key lawmakers in Washington, D.C.," said Scott Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Ohio REALTORS. "Each has played an integral role in building our gold star reputation on the Hill and, equally important, ensuring the protection of property rights. The industry has benefited from their active involvement."
