Jedlinsky honored with industry's top 'EverGreen' award
Columbus REALTOR Jan Jedlinsky, with Metro II Realty, has been selected from a distinguished pool of candidates to receive the 2022 EverGreen Award from the National Association of REALTORS’ (NAR’s) Green REsource Council.
Jedlinsky was nominated for this annual award based on her commitments to the green industry, as well as her work within the community. She was selected for the 2022 EverGreen Award by an independent panel of green industry professionals.
She has been an outstanding leader in the green real estate community. Some of Jedlinsky’s achievements within the community include her work with Columbus REALTORS, sitting on task force groups to add Green features to the MLS and ultimately creating the Sustainability Forum where she served as 2022 Chair. She also participated in an Ohio REALTORS Presidential Advisory Group studying how to bring the Sustainablity/Green conversation to Ohio REALTORS. She will serve as 2023 Chair of the newly formed OR Sustainability Advisory Group and has served on the NAR Sustainability Advisory Board since 2019. Most recently she had the opportunity to bring the Sustainability/Green Conversation to the 13,000 members of the National Women’s Council of REALTORS.
Jedlinsky continues to walk the walk and talk the talk and has experience living in her “off the grid” vacation home in Wyoming. She has personally taken steps to make all of her homes more energy efficient and green. She has demonstrated that she is the source of knowledge, experience and resources in working with individuals interested in green and sustainable issues and has shown a strong dedication to this flourishing niche of the real estate market. Her exemplary acts deserve this special recognition, as they exemplify the principles of good practice among real estate agents.
