Community Champions: REALTORS play vital role in passage of school levy
The newest episode of the Ohio REALTORS "Community Champions" video series spotlights the efforts of the Ashland Board of REALTORS®, Wayne-Holmes Association of REALTORS, Knox County Board of REALTORS, Coshocton County Board of REALTORS, Mansfield Association of REALTORS, and the Lorain County Association of REALTORS to jointly help pass a much-needed levy for the Ashland County -- West Holmes Career Center.
The Career Center, which helps train tomorrow's workforce in a variety of fields, was in dire need of upgraded facilities -- having outgrown the campus that was originally built in 1973. Over the years, three prior efforts to pass a levy had failed until the area's REALTORS stepped up and played a critical role in having the measure approved by 179 votes.
