REALTOR Mic Gordon receives key appointment
Ohio REALTORS is pleased to announce Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed REALTOR Mic Gordon, of Columbus, to the Ohio Federally Subsidized Housing Study Committee.
The Study Committee was created by Section 757.70 (A) in the recently enacted House Bill 110 (“operating budget”) of the 134th General Assembly. Ohio REALTORS advocated for and received a seat on the Study Committee, and recommended Gordon represent our Association. The Study Committee will examine how federally subsidized housing, such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, are valued for property tax purposes in Ohio. The Study Committee will present its findings to the Governor by July, 2022.
With more than three decades of real estate experience, Gordon will provide excellent insight and expertise into many aspects of the real estate industry. He is a past president of Columbus REALTORS and past Chair of the Ohio REALTORS Legislative Steering Committee. Gordon currently serves as the Operating Principal of Keller Williams Greater Columbus Realty, a role he has thrived in since 2003. He also has extensive knowledge of the homebuilding and development industry having served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at M/I Homes, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Schottenstein Real Estate Group.
Along with his professional accolades, Gordon is a community leader, fundraising for multiple philanthropies and causes important to his family and Keller Williams Greater Columbus Realty. We congratulate Mic Gordon on his appointment to the Ohio Federally Subsidized Housing Study Committee and look forward to supporting his work throughout the next few months.
