CDC answers questions about eviction moratorium orders
By Beth Wanless, Ohio REALTORS Director of Government Affairs
The recently enacted Center for Disease Control eviction moratorium has left both tenants and housing providers confused and seeking clarity. Many questions have developed from this order such as can eviction filings take place at all, can a housing provider question the validity of a tenant’s ability to pay rent, and is there any federal rent relief available to tenants to name a few.
