Coaching Corner: It's almost spring -- are you ready?

Yes, I know its still cold and snowy, but seriously, we are almost to the point where the sun will warm our cold bodies and shine enough to actually require sunglasses! Let’s take some time to gear up for my favorite time of year. The spring market is already upon us and will continue to get better as the weather warms. So how do you prepare for more business bringing more “busyness?”
Give some thought to consistency and if your only consistency is being non-consistent! Do you have a method where you are consistently finding new business? If so, make sure this method is bearing the fruit that you desire. If not, make the change now. What direction of this amazing industry is most pleasing to you? Make your plan!
Have you been in touch with your past clients lately? This is a great time to reconnect with those people who have found our service to be valuable. How can you do this on a regular basis?
Also, look at your surroundings -- your office, home, car. Are there items that are no longer relevant? Do you feel bogged down by piles of paper? Has the winter taken a toll on your car? It is not uncommon to find ourselves oblivious to our surroundings, sometimes finding it easier to look beyond rather than facing into the clutter. Take a look and see what you see.
What about your current wardrobe? This is a great time to go through your closets and drawers and identifying what continues to please you (and still fits!). Clothes, shoes, coats....take a look at it all!
