Ohio REALTORS® supports Diversity and Inclusion, as well as a continued commitment to Fair Housing as part of its core values.  Take your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to the next level by achieving your DE & I Certification.

Participants who complete this certification will gain a better understanding of how to foster a more inclusive and welcoming environment and promote equity for all.

For 2024, this new certification is being offered as an Ohio REALTORS member Benefit, free to all attendees!

DE & I Certification Overview

  • 10 virtual (live online) classes offered, one per month, beginning in March 2024.
  • Each class provides 1 hour of Real Estate Continuing Education (CE).
  • Certification requires completion of 6 out of 10 classes.
  • NAR’s Fairhaven & Bias Override Courses each qualify as one of the 6 courses required for this certification.

We’re excited to close out 2024 with our tenth DE & I Certification course Life's Not Fair, but Digital Advertising Must Be, with presenter Trista Curzydlo, Esq.

Life's Not Fair, but Digital Advertising Must Be

Social media websites and digital advertising mediums make target marketing a particular demographic easier than ever before.  Find out when target marketing becomes “stating a preference” under the Fair Housing Act and what risk reduction techniques you need to enact.

CE Logistics (Please read):

  • This livestream webinar is certified for 1 hour of real estate credit, DE & I Certification course credit.
  • Attendees must join with video and stay within view during the program in order to receive CE, as active participation will be monitored.
  • Per ODRE requirements, you must be present for 90% of the program to receive credit.

Presenter: Trista Curzydlo, Esq.
With the knowledge you expect from an attorney and the sense of humor you wish your attorney had; Trista Curzydlo brings a fresh perspective to education classes for real estate licensees. Her career as an attorney both in the courtroom and the Statehouse provides her with a strong grasp on the “why” behind difficult legal topics while her experience as Legal Counsel for an Association of REALTORS® allows her to provide the “how” for risk management in a manner that everyone can grasp and enjoy.
