Ohio Market Watch: No noticeable change in buyers’ preference for condos

Ohio REALTORS were recently asked to indicate if they observed any change during the past year in their buyers’ preference for condos over single family homes. According to December’s housing confidence survey 30 percent of respondents — up 2 percent from last year and 9 percent from 2013 — observed an increase in buyers’ preference for condos.
Survey results are based on responses to a monthly survey, designed to capture the effects of the existing economic conditions and trends on the real estate industry, sent to a pool of 1,500 OAR participants. Click here to participate in future OAR Housing Confidence Surveys.
